I was admitted to E.S.H. after a road accident and on being admitted to A & E was given immediate attention. In spite of staff being extremely busy I was treated with the utmost care and and kindness. This continued through my stay in hospital. The nurses were always ready to help and ready to answer questions in a compassionate manner. The ward and toilet facilities were clean and tidy . The food was very good indeed.

suggestion: The wards are very noisy, the rooms were not built with sound insulation; If you are thinking of renovation; think sound insulation. In the morning around 05:30 when the day staff arrives, the noise of their conversation resonates in the ward. It is too early to wake up.

East Surrey is an example of what can be achieved by an NHS hospital in times of austerity. I was admitted via ED/resus as an emergency medical patient. The care received in the ED resus was slick, timely and amazing given how busy they were at the time of my admission. This nurses were really fantastic, I was really scared but they were reassuringly efficient and caring. I was transferred to AMU and the consultant Dr. King was really compassionate at a time of much anxiety. Dr. king was informative and reassuring, clearly caring in what is a demanding, fast-paced and difficult clinical environment. I was transferred to Tilgate Annex within 24 hours of admission to be cared for by specialists for my condition. Tilgate was an amazingly reassuring and caring environment. Dr. Acharya and the nursing staff were outstanding in their care, I was truly grateful and felt safe and secure. I recovered slowly but was not hurried to be be discharged and was provided with a clear discharge plan. Dr. Acharya made sure I was well enough to go home and ensured I had a plan if I became unwell again. The nurses were professional, caring and, especially on Tilgate, went that extra mile to make sure patient were card for and happy. I'm so impressed with the care I received, well done East Surrey Hospital and the NHS!

Very prompt, caring and professional treatment. Following my husband's fall he was in a lot of pain and was very relieved when pain killing medication was the first order of the day! Both Angela Killick and Kareem Morley are to be especially commended in addition to all the other personnel we saw. I have now obtained a transfer for him to Worthing Hospital who have also been very helpful in obtaining a prompt appointment at their fracture clinic.

Treated for breast cancer in 2014 and have annual mammograms on the remaining breast Last mammogram was performed on 2 August 2016 and result received only on 29 September, after reminders. Is this an acceptable length of time?

Apart from my appointment today, Saturday, 17th September, at East Surrey Outpatients, I have had occasion to visit A&E on two occasions on the 19th and 20th August. On all occasions I found the staff to be exemplary in their care and attention and I felt safe in their hands in whatever they were doing. The are both friendly and professional and explain any procedures they are about to undertake in easily understood language. On all occasions I have visited East Surrey I have always been impressed by the dedication and commitment to excellence they all so obviously share.

I was looked after during my maternity care.I was under a consultant (Miss Shivarajan) and midwife (Ms. Ali Price ) shared care. Both are lovely and caring professionals. I also took several trips to hospital day unit. My daughter was prem so I had to stay three nights at the ward. All the staff was good. Two nurses were exceptional. Gabi and Sophie. Then my daughter was under care in Neonatal for 5 weeks. Again she had a very good care there and even after she was discharged. All the staff there is great.
